— South Florida Is Tough on Marine Equipment

Salt, Heat, and Time.

South Florida’s saltwater environment is one of the most corrosive in the world for marine equipment. Cables stretch. Motor seals degrade. Hardware corrodes. Annual or semiannual service keeps your lift running properly and catches small problems before they become expensive ones.

Cable Tension & Wear

Cables stretch and fatigue under load in saltwater. Annual adjustment and inspection catches uneven tension, fraying, and keeper wear before a cable failure mid-lift — a problem that costs far more to fix.

Lubrication & Greasing

Every lift has grease points, pulleys, and moving parts that dry out in salt air. Without periodic lubrication the hardware wears faster, the lift runs harder, and motor load increases.

Limit Switch Calibration

The limit switch that stops your lift at the correct height drifts over time. Miscalibration causes the motor to over-travel or stop short, wearing down the drive system and stressing the structure.

Hardware & Tightening

Every bolt, bracket, and fastener on your lift lives in a marine environment. A full tightening inspection every year prevents the gradual loosening that leads to structural movement and damage.

Parts are not included in plan pricing. Additional parts that may be required include motors, cables, cradles, bunks, pulleys, and more. The property owner will be notified before any replacement is ordered — nothing is added without your approval. To cancel your service subscription, simply contact us and we’ll terminate the recurring subscription.

— Service Plan Questions

Quick Answers.

Service plans automatically put you on our calendar once or twice a year so your lift is always in working condition. They also include no-charge in-year visits within 2 days of your call — plan holders go ahead of non-plan clients. A one-time visit doesn’t include that priority response.

No. Plan pricing covers the labor and the full checklist for each visit. Parts that may be needed — motors, cables, cradles, bunks, pulleys and similar — are billed separately. The property owner is notified before anything is ordered, and nothing is added without your approval.

If something goes wrong between scheduled visits, plan holders get a visit within two days of the call at no charge for the visit itself, and go ahead of non-plan clients in the queue. Any parts needed are still billed separately.

Annual is one scheduled maintenance visit a year, billed every twelve months. Semiannual is two visits a year, billed every six months. On the 4-Post Cradle and Elevator Lift plans, semiannual works out $150 a year cheaper than booking two separate annual visits.

Your card is charged when you complete the plan form, and your plan is active from that moment. Annual plans re-bill on the anniversary of that first payment; semiannual plans re-bill every six months. You can cancel at any time by contacting us and we’ll terminate the recurring subscription.

Four vertical pilings with a cradle slung between them is a 4-Post Cradle. Two tracks running up the pilings with the cradle riding them is an Elevator. A lift that sits flush with the dock and runs on hydraulic head units is a No-Profile. If you’re not certain, send us a photo and we’ll tell you.
