— Neptune BOAT LIFTS 8-Post Series
8-POST Boat Lifts.
The 8-Post Yacht Lift from Neptune Boat Lifts is not a standard product. It is a custom-engineered yacht lift built for your vessel, from 30,000 to 300,000 lbs, on eight driven pilings. This system handles what everything else can’t.
Neptune 8-Post Yacht Lift • In Operation
The 8-Post.
Both limit switches halt at the preset height. Kyle's team verifies levelness, confirms limit positions, and walks you through the dual-remote operation. Installed For Life™ starts here.
When you're ready to launch, both drives descend simultaneously. Eight cables pay out in sync across all four post pairs, lowering the vessel steady and level to the waterline.
Both drives halt at the lower limit. The cradle is submerged, the vessel is floating in position — fully supported by the water, ready to depart under its own power.
Your vessel exits the cradle under power. One button on the wireless remote raises the empty cradle back to standby. The whole sequence takes under 60 seconds.

— What We Fix
Common Failures. Fixed Dockside.
Cable Replacement
Fraying, flattening, kinks, broken strands. We replace cables. We don’t nurse them along.
Motor Replacement
Slow travel, intermittent operation, a motor that hums and won’t turn. Swapped on site.
New Control Box
Moisture in the box, corroded contactors, a breaker that keeps tripping. Rebuilt or replaced.
Limit Switches
Lifts that overrun the top, stop short, or won’t auto stop where they should.
Pulley Replacement
Seized sheaves and worn bearings chew through cable. New pulleys, repacked and aligned.
Electrolysis on I-Beams
Stray current and spent anodes eat aluminum from the inside. We trace the source.

— COMMON 8-POST BOAT LIFT QUESTIONS
ANSWERS BEFORE YOU ASK.
What is an 8-post boat lift?
An 8-post boat lift is a yacht lift built on eight driven pilings instead of four. The extra pilings spread the load of a large, heavy vessel, so the lift can carry 30,000 to 300,000 lbs. with the stability a yacht needs.
When do I need an 8-post lift instead of a 4-post?
When the boat’s loaded weight, beam or length goes past what a 4-post lift supports. Neptune Boat Lifts 4-post lifts top out at 30,000 lbs; above that, the 8-post spreads the load across twice the pilings.
8-post yacht lift or elevator yacht lift?
Both carry large boats. An elevator yacht lift mounts to a seawall and lifts from one side, up to 72,000+ lbs. An 8-post yacht lift stands on eight pilings and goes to 300,000 lbs. The seawall, slip and vessel decide which fits.
How much weight can a yacht lift hold?
Neptune Boat Lifts 8-post yacht lifts are built from 30,000 to 300,000 lbs., including 40,000, 50,000, 60,000 and 80,000 lb. sizes. Every lift is sized to the vessel’s loaded weight: fuel, water, generators, towers and gear included.
How much does a yacht lift cost?
Yacht lift prices depend on capacity, piling count and type, water depth, electrical, drive and permits. Every 8-post system is engineered per vessel, so we price after a site visit. Call or text Kyle at 954-632-1051.
What pilings does an 8-post lift need?
Eight driven pilings, typically 10″ to 12″, with concrete pilings at 80,000 lbs and up. Some larger G6 SuperFast configurations use twelve 12″ concrete pilings. We drive every piling to refusal with our own rig and barge, never jetted.
Do yacht lifts need more permits?
Usually. Larger structures in the water can trigger more review from the city or county, Florida DEP and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. We prepare the full permit package in-house.
Can a large yacht lift go in a residential canal?
Often, yes, with the right equipment. Our barge fleet sets pilings and lifts in canals land equipment cannot reach. We confirm canal width, water depth and setbacks on the site visit.
