THE FLEET BEHIND
THE WORK.
Unlike most marine contractors, our barges are custom made to specifically install boat lifts.
- No access needed from the front yard
- Barges fully equipped to hammer elevator track beams
- Tight space pile driving
Our crane barges, pile-driving rig and truck fleet reach any waterfront in Broward and Palm Beach County, whatever the water depth, tide or site access.
BRAND REEL
Thirty years of installs don’t lie. This is what it looks like when a real boat lift installer shows up. Barge in the water, crew on the dock, lift going up. No stock footage, no subcontractors. Just our team doing what we do, every day, across South Florida.
BARGE FLEET
Most contractors call a barge company when the job gets complicated. We own ours. Our barge fleet gives us direct access to deep canals, open water installs, and remote sites that simply can’t be reached by land. If your dock is on the water, we can get there.
TRUCK FLEET + CREW
Every truck on our fleet is All Power Marine. Every technician on every job is our own. Trained, certified, and accountable. Our crew is the reason our work is backed for life.
— FROM FIRST CALL TO FIRST LIFT-OFF
THE WHITE‑GLOVE EXPERIENCE.

We Pull All Permits
We handle the entire county permitting process: drawings, submissions, and follow-up. You never talk to a government office. We track it all and notify you when clear.
Professional Install
Our own certified crew arrives with our barge and truck fleet. Every install is done in-house – no subcontractors, ever. Usually completed in a single day.
First Lift-Off Consultation
We show up on day one — in person — to walk you through operating your lift, confirm the bunk fit, fine-tune the limit switch, and make sure your first experience is perfect.
Post Install Support
Annual and semi-annual service plans keep your lift running perfectly. We’re a call away if anything comes up — and with our Installed For Life™ warranty, our work is always covered.

— What We Fix
Common Failures. Fixed Dockside.
Cable Replacement
Fraying, flattening, kinks, broken strands. We replace cables. We don’t nurse them along.
Motor Replacement
Slow travel, intermittent operation, a motor that hums and won’t turn. Swapped on site.
New Control Box
Moisture in the box, corroded contactors, a breaker that keeps tripping. Rebuilt or replaced.
Limit Switches
Lifts that overrun the top, stop short, or won’t auto stop where they should.
Pulley Replacement
Seized sheaves and worn bearings chew through cable. New pulleys, repacked and aligned.
Electrolysis on I-Beams
Stray current and spent anodes eat aluminum from the inside. We trace the source.
Fix it once. Then stop it from happening again.

— COMMON QUESTIONS
ANSWERS BEFORE YOU ASK.
How much does a boat lift cost in South Florida?
Boat lift prices are set by lift type, capacity, drive speed, piling work, electrical and permits. A single jet ski lift and a 300,000 lb yacht lift are different projects, so a fair number needs a site visit. Call or text Kyle at 954-632-1051 for pricing on your boat and dock.
What size boat lift do I need?
Size the lift to your boat’s loaded weight, not the brochure dry weight. Fuel, water, engines, batteries, towers, hardtops and gear can add thousands of pounds. We calculate it with you on the site visit and build in a safety margin.
What are the different types of boat lifts?
Elevator lifts mount to a seawall and lift from one side. 4-post lifts carry a cradle between four pilings. Beamless lifts are low profile 4-post lifts with no top beams. 8-post yacht lifts carry large vessels on eight pilings. Jet ski and platform lifts store personal watercraft and toys.
What are the best boat lifts for saltwater?
Lifts built in aluminum and stainless steel, with sealed direct-drive gearboxes and stainless cables. That is how Neptune Boat Lifts builds every system, with an optional SEArmor corrosion package for harsh exposure. It is why we sell Neptune Boat Lifts exclusively.
Who are the best boat lift manufacturers?
The best boat lift manufacturers build for saltwater: aluminum and stainless steel structures, sealed drives, stainless cables and a warranty that stands behind them. Neptune Boat Lifts sets that standard. Founded in 2007 and built in Fort Lauderdale, Neptune Boat Lifts makes everything from jet ski lifts to 300,000 lb yacht lifts, with sealed Direct Drive gearboxes, high-speed G3 and G6 drives and a 10-year structural warranty. All Power Marine is South Florida’s #1 Neptune Boat Lifts dealer, and every lift we sell is permitted and installed by our own crew.
Do I need a permit to install a boat lift?
Almost always. Depending on the property, a boat lift can need city or county building approval, county environmental review, Florida DEP authorization and, in some waterways, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers review. We prepare and track every permit.
How long does boat lift installation take?
Permitting is the long part and varies by city and agency. Once permits are issued, on-water installation is measured in days, not weeks. You get a schedule after the site visit.
Can you install a boat lift on my existing dock or seawall?
Often, yes. Elevator lifts depend on the seawall or tie-back structure; 4-post lifts depend on piling size, spacing and condition. We inspect both on the site visit and tell you if anything must be replaced first.
Can you replace my old boat lift?
Yes. We remove the old lift, reuse sound pilings where it makes sense and install the new Neptune Boat Lifts system under one permit plan.
How long does a boat lift last?
The structure of a Neptune Boat Lifts lift is warranted for 10 years, and a maintained aluminum and stainless lift serves well beyond that. Cables, pulleys, anodes and grease points need regular service, which is what our Annual and Semi-Annual plans cover.
